Wrexham’s manager, Phil Parkinson, expressed enthusiasm for the summer tour, describing the upcoming match at Levi’s Stadium as an exciting and memorable occasion that contributes significantly to their pre-season preparations. He also mentioned the privilege of meeting fans in the US last summer and the eagerness to connect with more passionate supporters in San Francisco in July.
According to reports from The Athletic, Chelsea is poised to face Manchester City as part of their pre-season tour, aligning with the trend of Premier League teams prioritizing games in the United States. Other top clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United have also confirmed matches against each other in North America.
