Chelsea have reportedly been presented with the chance to re-sign Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan, a surprising turn of events for the former academy graduate.
Tomori, who rose through Chelsea’s youth system, left the club in January 2021 after falling out of favor under then-manager Frank Lampard. He quickly became a key figure at Milan, playing a pivotal role in their Serie A title-winning campaign the following season.
However, Tomori’s status at Milan has declined this year. Former coach Paulo Fonseca gave the English defender just 13 minutes of playing time across his final ten Serie A matches. With Sergio Conceiรงรฃo now at the helm, it remains uncertain whether Tomori will regain his spot in the starting lineup.

Amid speculation about his future, Juventus have shown strong interest in signing the 25-year-old. However, Sky Sports Switzerland reports that Chelsea have also been offered the chance to bring Tomori back to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are reportedly exploring defensive reinforcements this month. Although Tomori, who made 27 appearances for the Blues during his brief first-team spell, is an option, the club is not currently pursuing a move. A transfer would only be considered if Axel Disasi leaves the club.
Disasi has come under significant scrutiny following a string of lackluster performances. He has been linked with a move to Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, while Juventus are also rumored to be monitoring the French defender’s situation.
