Chelsea are closing in on a deal for Joao Felix, with negotiations approaching the final stages.
The transfer saga has been complex, involving Atletico Madrid and Chelsea. Initially, Conor Gallagher was expected to move to Atletico for €40m, but he is now back training with Chelsea’s Under-21s. Additionally, a move for Samu Omorodion to Chelsea fell through, complicating matters further.
According to journalist Ruben Uria, the deal is nearing completion. He reported on X (formerly Twitter) that Atletico Madrid will receive €50 million plus €5 million in bonuses for Felix, while Chelsea will get €42 million for Gallagher and gain a salary margin from his sale. The deal is not yet finalized, but both clubs are close to wrapping it up.
