According to sources, GRAHAM POTTER has imitated his predecessor Thomas Tuchel in terms of a potential Cristiano Ronaldo transfer.
Despite Todd Boehly’s desire to sign the Portuguese superstar, that is the case.
Boehly, the new owner of Chelsea, has connections to Ronaldo’s agency Jorge Mendes and wants to sign him as a marquee transfer, as SunSport reported in July.

However, the idea of adding the 37-year-old to his team didn’t persuade former Blues manager Tuchel.
Additionally, the Daily Mail reports that Ronaldo’s replacement, Potter, is ‘equally unenthused’ about having him in his team.
In September, Potter moved to Stamford Bridge from Brighton after Tuchel’s unexpected firing.
Potter lost four of his last five games as Chelsea manager, including three straight games in the Premier League prior to the World Cup break, despite been unbeaten in his first nine games as Chelsea manager.
Boehly made a staggering £259 million in transfers during his first season in charge.
However, Potter might wish to make some of his own acquisitions in 2019.
Ronaldo won’t be one of them, though.
Following his heated interview with Piers Morgan, the Manchester United attacker is probably going to be available.
In his scathing revelations, Ronaldo, whose Old Trafford contract expires in the summer, took aim at Erik ten Hag, the Glazers, and the board, among others. Many believe that this marks the end of Ronaldo’s time with the Red Devils.
But as SunSport reported, David Beckham is in contact with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner about a transfer to Inter Miami.
