On Sunday, September 4, 2022, the 15th edition of The Headies, an annual award event honouring outstanding accomplishments in the Nigerian music business, was held.
The Cobbs Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, hosted this year’s event, with the theme “Join the Movement.”
Since the initial event in 2006, the award presentation has not been conducted outside of Nigeria until this year’s edition.

Anthony Andersen, a super skilled actor and comedian, and multitalented Nigerian American actress Osas Ighodaro presided over this year’s awards ceremony.
