Nigerian singer, Terry G, once got addicted to drugs, but was able to quit it. The singer once revealed in an interview with Punch Newspaper that he was introduced to the substance by an actress. Although he didn’t reveal the name of the actress.

He said that it was never really his intent to get into drugs.
Terry G added that he is the first born of his family, and it would not be good to continue taking such. So also, he is known to be a very energetic person, so he had to quit because the substance was slowing him down.
2. Toyin Abraham
Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, was also a victim of drug addiction.
She narrated her story in the 2017 edition of Success Story Africa, which was held in Lagos.
Toyin said that she did drugs, and she is not ashamed to admit it because it has become a thing of the past.
She added that she did smoke a lot and didn’t even realize that she looked horrible as she was very skinny.
She fought her addiction and overcame it when she realized that she deserves a better life.
3. Hanks Anuku
Actor, Hanks Anuku, used to be one of the most sought-after Nollywood actors in Nigeria during his active days.
However, he left the movie industry and ventured into politics.
It was later reported that he couldn’t work properly because of his addiction to hard drugs.
After a few years, the actor revealed in an interview how he fought his addiction, how he sought God’s healing and received it at the Synagogue Church Of All Nation.
4. Tonto Dikeh
Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, also once revealed how she was once addicted to drugs.
In an interview with BBC pidgin, the actress narrated how she once battled with hard drugs and how it brought set backs to her life.
She added that she went into drug rehabilitation because it’s something that has set her back a lot in life.
She also said that she wanted to use her foundation to help in the rehabilitation of drug addicts so that they can live a drug-free life.
