Afolayan was born into a family deeply involved in the acting industry in Agbamu, a town in the Irepodun Local Government area of Kwara State, southwestern Nigeria. However, she grew up primarily in Lagos State. She is the eldest daughter of the late veteran actor and producer, Ade Love, who is also the father of Kunle Afolayan and Gabriel Afolayan.

Afolayan began her education at Coker Primary School in Orile Iganmu, Lagos State. She later attended Esie Iludun Anglican School, where she obtained her West Africa School certificate. Following her early education, she pursued further studies at the Oyo State College of Education, where she received training to become a school teacher.

Career

Afolayan has made notable appearances in several Nigerian movies throughout her career. In 2016, she starred alongside Ojopagogo and Dele Odule in the Yoruba film Arinjo.

Personal Life

Moji Afolayan is married to Rasaq Olasunkanmi Olayiwola, a Nigerian actor known by his stage name, “Ojopagogo.”
