CHAN 2024Q: Home-based Eagles must fight hard to overcome Ghana – Ikpeba

Former Nigerian international Victor Ikpeba has urged the home-based Super Eagles to give their all in the decisive clash against Ghana’s Black Galaxies.

The two teams are competing for a spot at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN). The first leg ended in a goalless draw, leaving everything to play for in the second leg.

The reverse fixture is scheduled to take place on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Speaking on SuperSport TV, Ikpeba emphasized the importance of the match, saying, “The CHAN Eagles must fight because this is one game Ghana does not want to lose. We all remember what happened with the Super Eagles and Ghana during the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.”
