Last season, Manchester City, the defending champions, defeated Ancelotti’s side 5-1 on aggregate, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Bernabeu. However, Ancelotti views the upcoming clash as a meeting between equals and not an opportunity for vengeance.
