A Nigerian woman has revealed what happened to a brand-new 500 naira note that was accidently washed.
She asserted that her sister washed the freshly written note after she forgot it was there, and that she later discovered the money to be entirely bleached.
A screenshot of the faded message that had raised some concern was tweeted by the user going by the handle Chinazo.

She wrote; “So my sis forgot the new currency in her pocket and washed it, this is what it turned out to! If rain drenches you and this money is your only hope, you’d be stranded!”
