Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has finally been honored with a Doctor of Philosophy in Art and Culture from Estam University, Benin.
Lateef Adedimeji was honored on the 27th of November 2023, he shared the video of the ceremonial process on his Instagram page.
He revealed that he his moved to tears as he never expected this kind of big favour from God.

He revealed that people can now called him Dr Lateef Adedimeji because he could not imagine get the title without facing invigilator and burning night candle in order to archive it, but he got it out of favour and recognition from God.
Netizens have been sending their congratulations messages to him as he became the latest doctor.
He Wrote: I was moved to tears as I got adorned in this beautiful robe.
I have never been interested in fame, I just wanted to be happy with my craft and the lives that I inspire.

The irony is really interesting. I burn midnight candles to master my lines and perfect my expressions, now I’m getting rewarded with what could have been if I did it for classroom reasons.
