The Confederation of African Football (CAF) awarded three points and three goals to the Super Eagles on Saturday following the disrupted 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.
This decision strengthens the Super Eagles’ position at the top of their group, bringing their total to 10 points from four matches, four points ahead of second-placed Benin. Meanwhile, Libya sits at the bottom of the group with just one point.
