The Nigerian striker missed Leverkusen’s 1-1 draw against Brest midweek following a car accident last Sunday. However, he returned in style, netting the opener for Die Werkself in the 30th minute with an assist from Jeremie Frimpong. This marked Boniface’s sixth league goal of the season.
