Bruno Labbadia has reversed his decision to become the head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, according to Torizone.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had announced on Tuesday that the German would be appointed as the new manager. However, reports from Germany indicate that the 58-year-old has now declined the opportunity to lead the three-time African champions.

It is believed that the NFF was unable to finalize a contractual agreement with Labbadia before the announcement. Originally, Labbadia was set to manage the Super Eagles for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
