Bruno Fernandes Reaches Significant Milestone in Manchester United’s 3-0 Victory Over Leicester
Bruno Fernandes reached an impressive milestone during Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Red Devils secured a comfortable victory over newly-promoted Leicester, extending Ruud van Nistelrooy’s unbeaten run to four games since taking over as interim manager from Erik ten Hag in October.

Van Nistelrooy, who will hand over to new head coach Ruben Amorim on Monday, leaves the team in a strong position ahead of United’s next Premier League match against Ipswich Town on 24 November.
Fernandes, the United captain, has flourished during Van Nistelrooy’s brief tenure, scoring four goals in as many games under the Dutchman.
His performance against Leicester was particularly notable, as he opened the scoring in the 17th minute, leading United to a dominant victory. The goal marked his 100th direct goal contribution in 170 Premier League appearances, a feat he reached just one game quicker than United legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who recorded his 100th contribution in 169 games.
Amorim will take charge of the squad with United sitting 13th in the Premier League standings. The team’s recent form under Van Nistelrooy should give the incoming coach a positive foundation, especially after Sporting CP’s stunning 4-1 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League earlier this month.
