Team information and the official starting lineup for Liverpool’s match against Brighton in the Premier League at the Amex
In order to prepare for the trip to Brighton, Jurgen Klopp makes one alteration to the Liverpool lineup, bringing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back.
As a result of the injuries to Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, and most recently Darwin Nunez, Jurgen Klopp has shifted new acquisition Cody Gakpo into the middle of his front three for the Netherlands international’s Premier League debut at the Amex Stadium.

Gakpo has played in just one game since joining from PSV at the beginning of the month, contributing to the 2-2 FA Cup draw with Wolves seven days ago.
In an effort to improve on his goal-scoring performance in the league’s previous match, a 3-1 loss at Brentford, Oxlade-Chamberlain will continue to play on the left side of the field. As usual, Mohamed Salah will be positioned on the right side of the front three.
The midfield trio of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and Thiago Alcantara remains in place, and Ibrahima Konate and Joel Matip continue to play together at center back in place of the injured Virgil van Dijk.
Ben Doak, Curtis Jones, Naby Keita, and James Milner, who is back in the lineup following a recent muscle injury, all have spots on the replacements’ bench.
The Reds will rise back above Fulham and into sixth place in the Premier League standings with a victory on the south coast.
