The reduction in power generation from the Egbin power station is currently causing power disruptions in no fewer than nine Ogun communities.

The IBEDC declared, “Customers in the following communities: Sango, Ota, Ilaro, Ayetoro, Imeko, Mowe, Ibafo, Magboro, Abeokuta metropolis and environs are experiencing a power outage due to the drop in generation from the Egbin generation station.”
The distribution business expressed regret for any difficulty caused and stated that its technical staff was liaising with pertinent parties to guarantee the restoration of the power supply.
