Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad recently raised concerns about Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo’s involvement in promoting traditionalist practices in movies, stating that it contradicts Islamic teachings.

Sheikh Ahmad took to social media to express his worries and urged Femi Adebayo to reconsider his participation in films that endorse traditional beliefs.

Alongside his message, he shared a photo of Femi Adebayo donning a traditional outfit to promote the movie ‘Orisa,’ produced by Odunalde Adekola.

According to Sheikh Ahmad, these activities are not aligned with the principles of Islam and should be avoided.

In his address, he emphasized the significance of adhering to Islamic teachings and cautioned Femi Adebayo to consider the potential consequences of his actions in this life and the hereafter.

The cleric’s advice highlights the clash between traditional practices and religious beliefs, urging individuals to remain mindful of the impact of their choices on their faith and spiritual journey.

He highlighted that promoting traditionalist practices contradicts the essence of Islam, which encourages the worship of Allah alone and adherence to the teachings of the Holy Quran.
