Upon their arrival in Ghana, the three were reportedly quarantined and tested for COVID, as was needed during the pandemic. After having their swabs taken and testing positive for the virus, they were quarantined at an Accra hotel and had to stay there.

They allegedly used a fork to attack the doctor who broke the news to them, apparently angry that the quarantine would disrupt their stay in Ghana. It was later discovered that the incident was part of the trio’s alleged attempt to escape quarantine.
