Actress Funmi Awelewa, nicknamed Morili, has expressed concern that actresses are unjustly assessed by society.
“It’s not true that actresses are promiscuous,” she claimed in an interview with Saturday Beats. It all depends on who you are and what you did before you became an actor. If a person was bad before entering the film industry, they would easily continue to be bad, and if they aren’t, being an actress won’t make them worse.

Morili also stated that stardom has provided her with more than she could have imagined, even though she did not have a godfather to lean on when she first began starring and producing films. “Acting is worth the sacrifices I’ve made for it,” she continued.
