In a long-awaited reunion, former contestants of Big Brother Naija, Beauty and Phyna, who were once close friends, finally addressed their “delicate situation” for the first time since the reality show ended.
As you may recall, Beauty and Groovy were involved in a romantic relationship before her disqualification from the program. However, after Beauty’s eviction, her dear friend Phyna made advances towards Groovy.
During the reunion, Beauty Tukura openly expressed her lack of concern about seeing her former romantic partner Groovy involved with her friend Phyna after her elimination from the reality show.

Beauty mentioned that Phyna was someone she genuinely admired and supported throughout her time in the house. However, she lamented that Phyna had nothing positive to say about her due to their involvement with the same man.
The show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, asked Beauty, “What were your initial thoughts when you first noticed the development of Groovy and Phyna’s relationship?”
Beauty replied, “Honestly, I didn’t have any concerns about that. Let me explain why. From the beginning, I had a firm grasp on reality. Do you resonate with that? I was being truly authentic.”
“Even after my eviction from the Big Brother House, during my first interview, I was asked about Groovy and everything related to him. I openly expressed my regrets for the things I said about him. I made it clear that I didn’t expect him to not move on.”
“Therefore, I had no objections if Groovy chose to be with someone else. I am not a fortune teller. It wouldn’t bother me at all.”
Regarding her decision to ignore Phyna at a post-show party, Beauty explained, “It was because I came across a video clip where Phyna wished death upon me. She continued with her hurtful words, and now she’s involved with Groovy. If she desires death, she can go ahead and embrace it.”
In her defense, Phyna stated that her previous remarks were not genuine, saying, “I attribute those statements to my volatile temper.”
