Ebuka Obi Uchendu, the host of Big Brother Naija, has disclosed some of the reasons why Maria was evicted early from the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye house.
In an interview with Beat FM, Ebuka said that seeing Maria’s name on the eviction list surprised him.
He stated that a number of factors had a role in her early departure from the show.

Maria’s early eviction, according to Ebuka, was due to a conflict with Whitemoney.
Before Pere came into the picture, Maria was Whitemoney’s best friend, according to him. Whitemoney became the victim in front of the audience when Maria allied with Pere, who was like a “villain of the season.”
Ebuka said her alignment with Pere at the time made the fans to vote her out.
A second reason he gave was that Maria was too opinionated in a way that people disliked.
