Bandits terrorize a neighborhood in Zamfara, killing over seven and kidnapping other people.

Seven residents of the Nahuche hamlet in Bungudu Local Government Area, Zamfara State, were killed and numerous others were kidnapped by gunmen who were thought to be bandits.

Tasiu Nahuche, a community source, said that the terrorists broke into the village early on Wednesday.

He clarified that when the bandits broke into the town and began firing intermittently, the residents had already gone to sleep.

“We had to run quickly to save our lives.”

The precise number of abductions is unknown, he claimed.
