Ademola Lookman has secured the 14th position in this year’s Ballon d’Or rankings, making him the only African player on the 30-man shortlist. The Atalanta winger earned this recognition following an impressive season with both his club and the Nigerian national team.
Lookman was honored as Atalanta’s Player of the Year, concluding the season with 11 goals and seven assists across 31 league matches. His standout performance included a hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen, who entered the match unbeaten.
