Because of what he has always stood for, the people of Benue have adhered to his impeccable leadership beliefs and utilized his extraordinary talent for a long time.

In good times and, more often than not, in bad, he will be by your side. The nation is fortunate to have Senator Akume’s commitment and judgment,” the President declared.

Tinubu expressed his appreciation for the previous governor of Benue State’s unwavering commitment to duty and consistency in overseeing government operations.

As a governor, minister, senator, and top-tier public servant, Akume has earned a “rich portfolio of leadership experience and laurels, which he brings to bear in his current role,” the statement said.

According to Ngelale, “President Tinubu praised Senator Akume, praising the moderation, friendliness, unity, and steadiness he constantly embodies as he arranges affairs both inside and across other branches of government, proving to be dependable, accessible, and focused in bridging the gap between policy and execution.”

The President urged the SGF to continue his selfless service to the nation while wishing him health and strength.
