Arsenal have once again deviated from their traditional away colors, unveiling a bold new design for the upcoming season.

Despite initial doubts, last year’s fluorescent away kit quickly became a fan favorite, largely due to Arsenal’s strong performances on the road.

A statement on Arsenal’s official website announced, “Introducing our new 2024/25 away kit, created in collaboration with adidas and British African heritage brand Labrum London. We’re celebrating our connection with our African supporters through the continent’s design traditions.”

The kit showcases the traditional Pan-African colors of black, red, and green, complemented by a striking white zig-zag graphic designed by Labrum London founder Foday Dumbuya.

“This design weaves together cultural elements to honor our past and present connection with the African diaspora in London and beyond,” the statement continued, “celebrating the rich cultural heritage within the team and our supporters.”

Foday Dumbuya, founder of Labrum London, shared, “As a second-generation immigrant growing up in London, I admired many incredible Arsenal players of African heritage. They were not only remarkable on the field but also represented the wider community I relate to. Arsenal’s deep connection with this community makes it a proud moment for me to have collaborated on this design.”
