Highlighting the parallels between Ronaldo’s commitment and his own aspirations, Saka emphasized the influence of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta in shaping his goals. Arteta has challenged Saka to develop into a player capable of thriving in 60-70 matches per season.
“He [Arteta] told me that elite players all do it, so if I want to reach that level, I need to be prepared to play that many games and contribute to winning each one,” Saka affirmed.
On his journey toward meeting Arteta’s expectations, the 22-year-old has shown significant progress, surpassing 200 appearances for Arsenal and reaching 50 senior goals. Additionally, he has earned 32 caps for the England national team.
