In a press conference on January 18th, Guardiola stated;

When asked if he was calm about being eight points behind Arsenal, he said;

Recall that prior to Christopher Nkunku’s summer transfer to Chelsea, Timo Werner gave him some advice.

Werner said in an interview with the German publication SportBILD: “Everyone has to have their own experience.

“My first year was excellent, but my second was only okay. Should he decide to change, I can tell him from both great and terrible experiences.

“At a team like that, you don’t play like you did at RB Leipzig because there is even greater competitiveness, both on a physical and cerebral level. You must adjust to that, and everyone must choose their own path.

“For this reason, offering advice to others is unwise. I’ve undergone significant transformation with the passage of time.
