According to Bild journalist Sten Hornig, Arsenal is now facing heightened competition from Manchester United and Manchester City in their pursuit of highly-rated Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško.
Arsenal has long admired the talented forward and made a strong attempt to sign him during the last transfer window. However, despite their best efforts, Šeško opted to stay at RB Leipzig, where he felt he could further develop in a stable environment.
Although Arsenal was disappointed with his decision, they chose not to pursue other strikers, signaling their intention to revisit their interest in the 20-year-old next summer. The Gunners believe that his time in the Bundesliga will only enhance his value, making him an even more attractive prospect when the next transfer window opens.

Šeško’s decision to remain at RB Leipzig has proven fruitful, as he has become a key player for the club, scoring consistently and showing his ability to perform at the highest level. His impressive form has caught the attention of Europe’s top clubs, intensifying the competition for his signature.
Now, Arsenal faces stiff competition from Premier League rivals Manchester City and Manchester United, both of whom have expressed interest in the young striker.
Hornig confirmed the growing interest in Šeško during an interview with Tuttojuve, stating: “In addition to his market value exceeding €75 million, which may be out of reach for Italian clubs, the biggest competition will come from Premier League sides. Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal are among those most closely monitoring him.”
