Tottenham Hotspur’s head coach, Ange Postecoglou, has secured the title of Premier League Manager of the Month for October. This achievement adds to his previous wins in August and September, making him the first individual in history to claim the Manager of the Month award for each of his initial three months.

In October, Spurs stood out as the sole team to triumph in all three of their Premier League matches, marking a noteworthy feat for Postecoglou in his relatively brief tenure. The month commenced with a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Luton Town, where Tottenham faced a numerical disadvantage after Yves Bissouma received two yellow cards just before halftime. Nonetheless, Micky van de Ven secured the winning goal early in the second half, propelling Spurs to the top of the Premier League.

Following the international break, Tottenham resumed play with a 2-0 win at home against Fulham, featuring goals from Son Heung-min and James Maddison. Four days later, they sealed a 2-1 triumph away at Crystal Palace, with a Joel Ward own goal and a strike from Son ensuring a perfect record for the month.

Postecoglou, who joined Tottenham from Celtic in the summer, has garnered widespread approval at the club. This unity comes as a stark contrast to the challenges faced in the previous 2022/23 season. Other nominees for the October Manager of the Month award included Uani Emery, Mikel Arteta, and Jurgen Klopp, recognized for their unbeaten records with Aston Villa, Arsenal, and Liverpool, respectively.
