The video from “the honest bunch podcast,” which included popular Nigerian actor Kunle Remi as a guest, is currently buzzing due to some of the admissions he made. For his part as Saro in the Netflix film Anikulapo, Kunle Remi is well-known. However, Kunle Remi acknowledged that he faced some difficult challenges in his early career as an actor before succeeding. He discussed a specific interaction he had with a well-known entertainer. He claimed that an influential performer was brought to him by a friend he had at the University of Ibadan at the time, and the events that followed shocked him.
He claimed that the performer attempted to go close to him and used a candle stick and oil. He said, “Some years ago, a male producer tried to use oil and a candle on me.” He claims that the producer informed him that he was having career difficulties at the time because he had not made the necessary payments. He added the man had said he wanted to get in touch with him and that, if he did, he would succeed in the industry more quickly than he had anticipated. He declined the producer’s request, though.
After being posted on Lindaikejisblog, the video received a lot of online feedback. Many of the people who left comments said that in order for corrupt individuals in the industry to stop taking advantage of up-and-coming musicians, they need people to expose them.
