Online, a video appears showing a Nigerian woman disparaging the ethnicity of the late singer Mohbad.
The woman pointed out that the Yoruba tribe is limited to shouting and not really accomplishing anything to achieve their goals.
Using the case of Mohbad as an example, she criticized the complacency of those who professed to support Mohbad’s right to justice, particularly the Yoruba tribe and the Yoruba celebrities who are leading the charge for justice in Mohbad’s case.

She said that her tribe would not take it well if it were in Anambra or Benin and that they would prefer to handle things themselves and see that justice is served rather than waiting for the police. She compared her tribe to the Yorubas.
Part of her statement reads,”The yoruba tribe where MohBad came from only know how to shout. After they finish shouting, they stop and move on.
If it was my tribe in Anambra or Benin they do their son like this, everywhere will scatter..which police are you expecting justice from? How can you say The CCTV in Mohbad’s house is spoilt.
If the Nigerian police can give us all the suspects, we will wash his dead body and give them the water to drink. They will swear publicly and go home. This matter can only be solved traditionally”
