The candidates for governor and deputy governor of Lagos State, Sanwo Olu and Hamzat, as well as Tinubu and his running mate, Shettima, were supported by women from various regions of the state, according to Nollynaijanews.
At Tinubu Square in Lagos State, the solidarity walk is still going strong.

Remember how there was a stir when the Tinubu/Shettima Women’s Presidential Campaign Team list appeared online?
Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Fausat Balogun, Bahama Sadau, and other prominent Nollywood actresses made the list.
33 Nollywood and Kannywood stars were named under the Creative and Entertainment Category in the 70-page campaign blueprint.
They include veteran thespian, Joke Silva who chairs the category, Fausat Balogun, Rahama Sadau, Remi Oshodi,Mercy Johnson Okojie, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero) Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), Princess Kalihat Bello, among others.
However, actress Rahama Sadau released a PSA disassociating herself from the list.
Foluke Daramola declares for Tinubu
Nollynaijanews recalls Foluke Daramola had publicly reacted to the political drama ensuing between herself and her husband, Kayode Salako due to their difference in choices of presidential candidates for the 2023 general elections.
Foluke Daramola is drumming support for her godfather and All Party Congress, APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu; her husband, Kayode Salako who is the chairman of the Labour Party in Lagos, is unashamedly campaigning for his party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The busty actress had addressed the stance in a press statement posted on her Instagram page. Vowing to stick with Tinubu till the end, Foluke Daramola declared that her husband’s role with the Labour party will not affect her assignment with Tinubu.
This declaration came after her appointment as the Assistant Director for the media department of the Performing Arts Directorate of the APC’s presidential council.
