Al-Nassr set to announce Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure after only two games – Report

Rudi Garcia, the head coach of Al-Nassr, claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo will not call it quits in the Saudi Pro League but rather would return to Europe to complete his playing days.

Al-Nassr is already debating Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure just one month after his arrival in Saudi Arabia.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has made two appearances for his new team but has yet to score a goal.

He and his teammates were even eliminated from the Saudi Arabian Super Cup semifinals after Al-1-3 Ittihad’s loss to Ahmed Hegazi’s club.

After the game, Al-Nassr head coach Garcia lamented Ronaldo’s missed opportunities, stating they cost his team the victory.

He added that CR7 would not retire with them since he would return to Europe.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a positive addition as he helps disperse defenders. He’s one of the best players in the world. He won’t finish his career at Al-Nassr, he’ll go back to Europe”, he said, as per Sport

Recall that Rudi Garcia, the manager of Al-Nassr, has attributed some of Al-Saudi Nassr’s Super Cup semifinal loss against Al-Ittihad on Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former Manchester United forward fails once more in the Super Cup loss, passing up a clear opportunity to win the match.

On January 26, Al-Ittihad, Garcia’s league rivals, eliminated Garcia’s league leaders from the competition. Ronaldo, the new signing and captain, blanked once more after making his goalless debut in an earlier Saudi League match.
