Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has disclosed that he is nearing a return to football, but this time as a club owner. Aguero, however, did not disclose the identity of the club he is involved with.
The 36-year-old made these remarks during a recent conversation with Argentine streamer Martin Perez Disalvo, known as Coscu. When asked if he intended to return to football as a manager, the former Barcelona star replied:
“To be honest, I’m considering getting into a football club as an owner. I won’t say which club it is, but I believe we’re heading in the right direction. I enjoy being able to manage, to assist the club’s progress, and to assemble a strong team and staff.”

Aguero retired from professional football in 2021 following a diagnosis of an irregular heartbeat shortly after being hospitalized.
