Pogba picked up his eighth assist of the season as Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to give United all three points.

The World Cup victor then traveled to Heaton Park, where the Parklife event was in full action on day one, from Manchester’s west side to the north.

Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, was also in the Old Trafford crowd on Saturday, cheering on United to victory before his performance.

The 30-year-old shared a photo of himself in a 2021-22 United home shirt with his number 23 and name printed across the back.

‘Watched my brother kill it! @paulpogba,’ he wrote.

Burna Boy danced beside Pogba on stage hours later, still wearing the kit.
