Bailey balanced his scholastic workload with his day job as a janitor, and after three years, he has earned a degree that puts him on track to lead the life of his dreams.
He shown incredible tenacity in pursuing his long-held goal of becoming a teacher. To fulfill the qualifications for becoming a teacher, he took courses at Georgia State University’s College of Education and Human Development.
“I’ve always aspired to have a college degree. I’ve always wished I could teach. The nicest sensation I’ve ever experienced was having everything click into place at that precise time, Bailey told WSBTV.
Bailey is finally realizing his goal at the age of 43 after working as a janitor for 24 years and putting in three years of intense study and labor.
