Super Eagles caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen has expressed regret over Victor Osimhen’s absence from the team’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya due to a muscle injury.

With Osimhen sidelined, Eguavoen will rely on Victor Boniface, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Kelechi Iheanacho to lead the attack. Despite the setback, the coach is confident that the other strikers will rise to the occasion.
