The governor said that the “Budget of Reconstruction and Recovery” was designed to expedite the revitalization of certain state economic sectors.

We are reconstructing all of the sectorsโ€”education, health, sports, transportation, agriculture, the creative industry, the digital economy, and general infrastructureโ€”along with youth and women-focused programs and policies because our goal is to set the state on the path of sustainable development.

“I applaud the state Assembly for handling the appropriations bill so quickly. I also commend my team for their collaboration during the financial process with the various assembly committees.

The governor declared, “We will guarantee implementation as stipulated to reconstruct the society and ensure recovery of the critical sector.”

The Osun House of Assembly approved the N273.9 billion 2024 Appropriations measure on December 21, according to the News Agency of Nigeria. The measure had been brought before the assembly on November 9 for review and approval.
