Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has given Nigerians hope that things will improve in 2024.
During the crossing night service on Sunday at Redemption Citiy along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the pastor made predictions for 2024. However, he stated that things would first become worse before getting better.
He declared, “The wind is already blowing for Nigeria.” There is wind blowing.

God’s entire message revolves around that single words. The wind is blowing; ask that the wind carry you well in your prayers.
Before things get better, they will get worse. Before things get better, they will get a little hotter.
He claimed that “because the wind is blowing means things will get better” and that “some people will start as nobody but will become significant before the middle of the year,” encouraging Nigerians to remain optimistic and ready to seize the many possibilities that will present themselves this year.
Continuing, the general overseer predicted that breakthroughs in the treatment of diseases like cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and others would occur on a global scale. “On the international level, there will be breakthroughs for incurable diseases like cancer, diabetes, and others. There will be divine intervention in the parts of the world where things are hot,” he said. Over the years, Nigerian pastors have developed an annual ritual of sharing their predictions for the upcoming year.
Among Adeboye’s predictions for 2023 are that it would be a year of numerous chances and that the world will experience a relative calm.
Additionally, he predicted that many troublemakers would become incapable of causing problems throughout the year; he labeled this as his favorite prophecy.
