Toyin Abraham, a Nollywood actress, has reacted after her latest film, “Ghost and the Tout Too,” surpassed the box office records of her previous film, “Fate of Alakada.”
This comes just a month after the film was released in Nigerian theatres, where it was widely panned and not recommended to intellectuals.
Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele set tongues churning a month ago when they both chose the same date, September 10, 2021, to debut their movies, โGhost and the tout tooโ in the theatres and โOmo Ghetto the sagaโ on Netflix.

Actress Iyabo Ojo fuelled the rivalry by accusing Funke Akindele of paying a popular movie critic to damage Toyin’s Abraham movie career days after the films were released.
However, Toyin Abraham, in an interview, debunked having any issue with Funke Akindele stating that the mother of two is among the people she respects in the Nollywood industry.
According to Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele is her senior colleague, and she respects her so much. Still, many people always mistake family, friends and colleagues as she cannot be friends with everyone.
Taking to her Instagram page to rejoice over the latest achievement, Toyin Abraham expressed appreciation to his fans and her husband Kolawole Ajeyemi for supporting her.
Toyin Abraham also thanked God, including her cast and crew, for their contributions to ensuring the movieโs success.
She wrote: You will be successful in JESUS name. The ghost and the tout too is trending everywhere and please be reminded that this report is weeks back. I just want to say thanks to God
