Nkechi Blessing stated she attends to parties to have fun, not to dress up and harm anyone, in an Instagram post.
Nkechi Blessing also questioned persons who dress to kill about how many people had died as a result of their attire.

The actress published a photo of herself with a movie director at a location on Instagram, expressing her excitement about working under his direction.

A fan of Nkechi Blessing reacted to this by asking why she isn’t in Yoruba films, adding that people must return to their roots at some point in their lives.
Nkechi Blessing, in response to the fan, stated that there is no money in Yoruba movies and that she goes where there is money.
