At Murphy Afolabi’s 8-day Fidau Prayer, the committee responsible for his funeral proceedings specifically highlighted Adunni Ade’s alleged debt to him.

The committee stated that Adunni Ade owed Murphy Afolabi a total of N250,000 prior to his unfortunate demise.
They pleaded with her to return the money.
“Adunni Ade please return the N250,000 that you are owing the Late Murphy Afolabi”.
Adunni Ade’s team responded by issuing a public statement in which she denied being indebted to the late actor.
Adunni Ade has come forward to share her side of the story, stating that it was actually Murphy Afolabi who approached her for a job last year and paid her N150,000 for it.
Unfortunately, due to the tragic passing of her brother, Adunni Ade was unable to fulfill the job and, in turn, returned the money to Murphy Afolabi when he approached her for another deal.
To support her claims, Adunni Ade has provided screenshots of her debit transaction, serving as evidence of the repayment she made to the late actor.
