Nigerian actor Yomi Fabiyi has called for a peaceful protest on October 1st to demand justice for the late Mohbad.

He made this announcement on his Instagram page, expressing his willingness to postpone his scheduled travel plans in order to advocate for justice in the wake of Mohbad’s passing.

This call for a peaceful protest aims to address the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.

He wrote;

“My return is NOV 6th but I don’t mind paying to move the date forward. If nothing tangible is done, to thy tent oh Isreal. Injustice to one is injustice to all.

SAVE THE DATE ▪︎ October 1st #justiceformohbad #freedom #humanrights We have legitimate grounds to PEACEFULLY PROTEST. I will protest even if I means alone.”

In another post, he wrote, “PEACEFUL PROTEST IS HUMAN RIGHTS in Nigeria.

Even if it require you to protest alone, stand up and PEACEFULLY PROTEST THIS INJUSTICE to #mohbad OCT 1ST in mind. Remember to come with your tooth brush, medications, blanket incase we will protest on Oct 1st.

NOTE: If you physically attack anyone, and the person dies as a result of that injuries or assault months not later than six month(6), you can be charged for first degree murder.

Avoid domestic violence, don’t beat your partners. Be civil and law abiding. Learn to disagree with people without resorting to violence.
