Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo, has called out in response to the Lekki Tollgate atrocity that occurred on October 20, 2020.
It’s been a year since innocent Nigerian lives were lost in the fight against police brutality and terrible leadership.
Nigerian youths staged a peaceful demonstration in response to police violence and poor leadership. However, a year ago, what appeared to be a peaceful demonstration erupted into a murderous barrage by the Nigerian military at the Lekki Tollgate.

Taking to his Instagram page, RMD said that there are questions that are yet unanswered by the Nigerian government who have refused to acknowledge the fact that there was gunfire that killed many youths on that day.
According to him, the cold-blood murder still lingered in his mind till the very moment and can never be forgotten as time can never heal the wounds of millions of Nigerians.
He wrote:
Questions still linger
Answers too far fetched
Time can’t heal these wounds
Twentieth of october twenty twenty
We remember still
Will time ever heal these wounds?
