Odunlade Adekola, a Nollywood actor, has responded to reports that he was embroiled in a sex-for-movie-role scandal.
This comes only days after Gistlovers, an Instagram blogger, called out the actor for reportedly asking sex from one Nike for a role.

Odunlade Adekola apologized for disappointing some people with his reaction in a video posted to his Instagram page, but added that clearing the charge is critical for the interest of rising Nollywood stars.
The actor cited a number of female Nollywood stars who had passed through him, claiming that only God can make someone a celebrity, and that he had never demanded sex in exchange for a job.
He urged Taiwo Aromokun, Eniola Ajao, Nike Hamzat, Tosin, and others to come out and say if he had ever forced sex from them in exchange for a movie role.
Odunlade Adekola went on to say that in his twenty-five years in the film industry, he has never solicited anyone for sex in exchange for a role in a film.
He went on to say that such claims are paid for by people who wish to harm his career.
