According to Marca, Torres, currently involved with Atletico Madrid’s Under-19 side, will spend Friday and Saturday at Liverpool’s AXA Training Centre before attending the Premier League match against Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield on Sunday.
The purpose of Torres’ visit is to enable the former striker, renowned for his 81 goals in 142 appearances for Liverpool between 2007 and 2011, to glean insights from Klopp and comprehend the managerial dynamics at Anfield.
Torres’ presence at training coincides with his recent appearance at Anfield, where he scored in a charity friendly alongside Liverpool legends such as Steven Gerrard, Jerzy Dudek, and Martin Skrtel.
Importantly, there are no implications that Torres’ return to the club is linked to the managerial search.
