Expressing his discontent, Ponciroli questioned Pioli’s preference for other players over Chukwueze, who he believes deserves more game time.

“I don’t understand Pioli’s favoritism towards Musah over Chukwueze, who is in good form but consistently finds himself on the bench,” Ponciroli remarked on TMW Radio.

“I believe Pioli has lost control of the situation. While it’s easier to discuss these choices in hindsight, I’ve long held reservations about them.”

Chukwueze has been utilized as a substitute on 17 occasions this season, a decision that Ponciroli believes has hindered the player’s potential impact.

Since joining AC Milan in June last year, Chukwueze has scored three goals and provided two assists, indicating his ability to contribute positively when given the opportunity.
