Rafael Leao of AC Milan is a player who Chelsea is interested in, therefore the interest may work in their favor. A trade deal might be proposed if Leao doesn’t sign a new contract with Milan.

Broja was expected to leave Chelsea in the summer but ultimately stayed to compete for a position.

Italian journalist Daniele Longo claims that Frederic Massara, the manager of AC Milan, has spoken with Chelsea forward Armando Broja’s entourage multiple times.

With Olivier Giroud’s age and Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s injury, the team is looking to add a number nine, and Broja is a guy they are interested in.

While on loan at Southampton the previous season, Broja performed admirably for the Saints. In 32 games, the Chelsea forward scored six goals. Although AC Milan is interested in hiring him, Chelsea is currently more likely to want to keep the player.

The only other striker Chelsea currently has is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but if Rafael Leao is included in the trade going the other way, Chelsea may be persuaded to move Broja.
