Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has disclosed that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is, tactically, the finest manager in the world.
Owen, commenting after Manchester City’s 3-3 draw with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night, praised Guardiola, describing him as “absolutely exceptional.”
“I believe he would impart invaluable knowledge about the game,” Owen shared with TNT Sports regarding Guardiola.

“He is a true student of the game. Currently, he is arguably the best tactician in the world, perhaps even in history.”
He continued, “It would be a captivating experience to spend a season in the dressing room with Pep Guardiola. He is truly exceptional.”
Guardiola has enjoyed remarkable success in his career, having secured the UEFA Champions League trophy on three occasions.
